I was reminded of a very valuable tip today. For guys that are trying to bulk up, remember that Muscle=Calories.
If you are not noticing an increase in muscle girth, one reason may be that you are over working out. Meaning you might be burning too many calories that could have been used toward your muscle. High intensity workout routines could be a reason why. Try running less and/or decreasing your reps and instead began increasing the weight that you are lifting. Remember if you're if you can lift the heaviest weight b/w 6-7 reps is actually a perfect method to increase your muscle mass.
